🍵 Iced Coconut & Cardamom Matcha Latte

At Chill Tea Atelier, we love pushing the boundaries of taste while staying true to our passion for pure, organic, single-origin tea. Today, we're revealing an exclusive recipe that reinterprets matcha with a daring twist: the Iced Coconut and Cardamom Matcha Latte.

Both refreshing, creamy, and slightly spicy, this latte is a concentration of pleasure and well-being, perfect for sunny days or as a natural afternoon boost.

🌿 Why Matcha?

Matcha is a superfood. Rich in antioxidants, L-theanine (ideal for concentration), and chlorophyll, it provides gentle energy, without the peaks of coffee. But beyond its benefits, it's its unique taste, both vegetal with notes of white chocolate, that makes it magical.

🧾 Ingredients (for 1 large glass)

  • 🥄 1 heaped tsp of Chill Tea Atelier Premium Organic Matcha

  • 🧊 100 ml water at 75°C

  • 🥥 150 ml barista coconut milk or full-fat cream

  • 🌰 1 pinch of ground cardamom

  • 🍯 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)

  • ❄️ Ice cubes to taste

👩🍳 Preparation

  1. Sift the matcha into a bowl to prevent lumps.

  2. Add the hot water (75°C), then whisk vigorously with a chasen (bamboo whisk) or a small milk frother until smooth and slightly frothy.

  3. In a shaker or a large glass, pour the coconut milk, add the cardamom and the maple syrup.

  4. Add a handful of ice cubes, then gently pour the matcha over for a layered effect.

  5. Stir lightly, or not: choose your style.

For an even more gourmet version: add a dash of vegetable coconut cream and some toasted coconut flakes on top.
