I never woke up one morning and thought, "Today, I'm going to create a ritual."
It happened quietly, almost despite myself.
At first, it was just a hot drink. An instinct. Then, little by little, I started to notice something else. The silence that settles while the water heats. The slow gesture of choosing one tea over another. The scent that arrives even before the first sip.
And above all, that strange moment when time slows down a bit.
Tea taught me that I no longer had to rush all the time.
That it was possible to take a break without a valid reason, without deserving it, without making it profitable.
Some days, this cup is energizing, almost joyful.
Other days, it's there to reassure, to calm, to keep company.
There are no rules. Just listening.
We often talk about well-being as a goal to achieve. As something to optimize. But for me, tea did exactly the opposite, it taught me to stop searching.
Stop trying to correct every fatigue.
Stop trying to control every emotion.
Accept that some moments are blurry, slow, silent.
If you'd like to come have a cup of tea with me, feel free to leave me a message.
